iremembertapes. bio

Influenced by dark new wave and bright modern electronica, iremembertapes.' are a modern mashup of atmospheric synths, melodic indie guitar riffs and sharp electro beats that shows you can rock-out on a synth just as hard as on a Fender. Deep, rich vocals entwined with an electronic groove cross iremembertapes.’ boundaries between indie, electronica and pop.

This electro-indie group seamlessly integrate synths and drum samples into otherwise great ‘indie’ songs. Deep layering in the choruses and catchy melodic verses exemplify the bands’ multitude of influences. Their explosive stage presence in their live electronic show highlights the band's talent at crowding the dance floor.

The band grew up playing in various hardcore punk and metal bands in the Winchester area before meeting frontman Tom Ferry, a run-away Jehova's Witness and relative of Bryan Ferry of Roxy Music. It didn't take long for their name and noise to reach London and The Animal Farm record label. In the autumn of 2011 the band released the single 'Gossip' to enthusiastic support from bloggers and radio shows alike.

2012 will see the release of their impressive debut album 'Human Architecture' in the UK and indeed across the world.
